Brighton and Hove Albion youngsters Tariq Lamptey and Alexis Mac Allister are in contention for the Seagulls’ clash with Arsenal on Saturday.
Albion return to top flight action after a 3-month absence as they welcome Mikel Arteta’s Gunners to the Amex stadium in a 3pm kick off.
Arteta’s men were beaten 3-0 by Manchester City on Wednesday in just the second fixture of ‘Project Restart.’
Arsenal lost Granit Xhaka to what looked to be a serious injury, before Pablo Mari also succumbed to a knock.
Mari’s replacement, David Luiz, was sent off in the defeat, and so won’t be available against Brighton.
Two players who are fit and raring to go for Albion though are young duo Tariq Lamptey and Alexis Mac Allister.
Gaffer Graham Potter may opt to shake things up upon a return to play, with his side just 2 points clear of the bottom three.
Lamptey, who joined Brighton from Chelsea for £3m on deadline day in January, is yet to make his Premier League debut for the Seagulls, but reports claim he has impressed in training.
The peculiarly named Alexis Mac Allister is also pushing for selection – the Argentine spent the best part of a year in his native country, looking bright in a loan spell with Boca Juniors.
Mac Allister has just 10 minutes of Premier League action under his belt, making his top flight debut as a late substitute against Wolves in March.
