Wolverhampton Wanderers are keeping tabs on Mexico winger Orbelin Pineda.

Pineda currently plies his trade in the Liga MX, the top tier of professional football in Mexico.

According to 90min, Nuno Espirito Santo has sent Wolves scouts to keep track of the 24-year-old.

Wanderers aren’t the only Premier League side with eyes on the wide man, however, with the likes of Everton, Newcastle, Arsenal and Spurs all said to have sent scouts to watch Pineda this year.

Wolves striker Raul Jimenez knows well the strengths of Pineda, being a teammate of his at International level with Mexico, where the Cruz Azul man has 21 caps for his country.

From a Molineux perspective, the wide areas are proving fruitful, with Daniel Podence and Pedro Neto performing well this season.

But if Pineda’s performances continue to catch the eye, perhaps Nuno Espirito Santo may consider bringing the Mexican to Wolves.
