Wolves have got their European hopes back on track with an efficient 3-0 win at home to Everton.

Goals from Raul Jimenez, Leander Dendoncker and Diogo Jota sealed all three points for hosts, as they up to five points inside the top seven.

Nuno Santo’s side looked the slicker of the two teams in the opening stages, as Daniel Podence and Jimenez both testing Jordan Pickford.

Everton struggled to find any fluidity in the first half, as Wolves got their reward just before the break as Jimenez tucked home his 25th goal of the season from the penalty spot.

And despite waiting 45 minutes for their first goal, Wolves waited less than 45 seconds to make it 2-0 after the break.

The visitors defence were found missing in action, as Dendoncker got in front of Michael Keane to head home.

The Everton reaction failed to materialise from there, as Podence and Jota continued to cause problems.

And fans favourite Jota finally on the score sheet with 15 to go, as he glided into the box to fire past Pickford.
