Chelsea duo Willian and Pedro have signed short-term contract extensions.

The pair, who were set to be out of contract at the end of the month, have now committed themselves to the club until the end of the season.

Both players penning fresh terms simultaneously comes as no real surprise, considering Pedro’s recent comments about following Willian’s lead when it comes to an extension.

It’s understood both players are likely to depart Stamford Bridge in the summer, with Brazilian winger Willian keen to stay in London amidst interest from Arsenal and Tottenham.

Frank Lampard has moved to bring in Ajax’s Hakim Ziyech and RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner this summer so far, likely forcing stalwarts Willian and Pedro on to pastures new.
