West Ham find themselves right back in the Premier League Top Four this weekend as they edged out a 2-1 win over Tottenham.

David Moyes’ unlikely push for Europe has received a real boost from this, as vital goals from Michail Antonio and Jesse Lingard made it three wins from four for the Hammers.

Spurs were the architects of their own downfall early on, as they were simply to too slow off the mark in East London, with Antonio’s instinctive finish putting the hosts in front on six minutes.

Jarrod Bowen’s cross floated right across the Tottenham box and Antonio got their first to force past Hugo Lloris.

And Spurs’ reaction continued at a snail’s pace before the break as Lukasz Fabianski produced a routine stop from Harry Kane.

But with the new found confidence flowing through Moyes’ players after the break, they started the second half as they did the first.

Pablo Fornals’ clipped pass was latched onto by Lingard and the Manchester United loanee tucked home another Hammers goal.

However, despite being two goals down, Jose Mourinho’s side did muster a reaction with half an hour to go, as Lucas Moura powered home Gareth Bale’s corner.

And it was the under pressure Welshman who almost snatched a cheeky equaliser late on as his driven volley smacked against the crossbar.

Full Time from the London Stadium it’s West Ham 2 Tottenham 1
