West Ham United entertained Championship side QPR in a behind-closed-doors friendly on Wednesday.
With ten days to go until the Hammers’ season is up and running again, manager David Moyes is keen to get minutes into players’ legs before their June 20 clash against Wolves.
Moyes has tried to secure friendlies with Arsenal and Crystal Palace in recent days, but it was second tier Queens Park Rangers who were invited to the London Stadium on Wednesday.
Several sources have claimed West Ham ran out 4-1 victors, but the score is yet to be confirmed.
It’s understood Irons boss Moyes has been keen to keep his cards close to his chest with regards to pre-restart training, with West Ham due to embark on a crucial run-in.
Understandably so you’d feel, with his side sitting above the Premier League relegation zone on goal difference only.
