West Ham have finally offloaded striker Albian Ayeti to Celtic, as part of a £6.5m deal with the Glaswegians.

Ayeti has been anonymous for the Hammers since his arrival last summer, failing to start a single Premier League game at the club.

The Swiss international was viewed a real capture for West Ham, in an £8m switch from Basel, however it simply hasn’t worked out for either party.

David Moyes is now set to prioritise a new striker this summer, with makeshift centre forward Michal Antonio ending the season as top scorer, with ten Premier League goals.
