West Ham rounded off a fantastic season in style down at the London Stadium as David Moyes’ side cruised to 3-0 win over Southampton.

With Europa League qualification in bag for the Hammers the handbrake was off in this tie as the Saints were simply unable to handle the home side.

Neither side created too much early on but it was to be a first half Pablo Fornals double that had West Ham 2-0 up before the break.

The Spaniard showed a razor instinct inside the box as he lashed home Jarrod Bowen’s deflected shot before he immediately got across his man to bury Vladimir Coufal’s cross.

Southampton did carve out some half chances to haul themselves back into after the break with Lukasz Fabianksi called into action to keep out Takumi Minamino and Nathan Tella.

But Moyes’ hosts killed off any chance of a fight back in the final minutes as Fornals played in captain Declan Rice to smash home a third.

Full Time from the London Stadium it’s West Ham 3 Southampton 0
