Norwich’s miserable Premier League return has continued this weekend as Watford edged out the battle of the newly promoted sides with a 3-1 win in Norfolk.

Norwich have now lost their first five games of the campaign as Xisco’s Watford get back to winning ways.

The Hornets looked hungry for this right from the start and star man Emmanuel Dennis deservedly nodded them in front from Kiko Femenia’s cross.

But despite struggling to land a punch in the opening half hour, the hosts did snatch an equaliser before the break, as Teemu Pukki raced on to slam past Daniel Bachmann.

However, this tie was always going to be decided by the first goal after the restart, and it was Watford who turned the screw.

Josh King’s near post cross was cushioned home by Ismalia Sarr before the pair linked up again as Sarr fired past Tim Krul after King’s shot was saved.
