Spurs will square off against Norwich and Reading in two pre-restart friendlies.

The matches will take place on consecutive days as Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho looks to get his players match sharp ahead of the Premier League’s resumption.

Mourinho’s side have arguably been the greatest benefactors from the break in play from an injury perspective, with Harry Kane, Son Heung-Min and Steven Bergwijn – who were all sidelined when the season was suspended – back to full fitness.

Tottenham will face Daniel Farke’s Norwich on Friday – the Canaries were one of Spurs’ last opponents in an FA Cup defeat before the season was put on hold in March.

Saturday sees second tier Reading make the short trip to North London for a practice match.

Jose Mourinho will return to his old haunt in Spurs first game of the restart, with a big Old Trafford clash against Manchester United on Friday, June 19.
