Tottenham have moved back to the top of the Premier League table as Jose Mourinho’s side cruised to a 2-0 win over arch rivals Arsenal.
Harry Kane and Son Heung-min continued their excellent start to the season with a goal apiece as Mourinho ensured North London bragging rights in front of 2,00 returning fans.
Neither side created much in a busy opening quarter of hour but a moment of Son inspired magic eased Spurs into a 1-0 lead.
The hosts instantly turned over an Arsenal counter attack on half way and Kane’s reverse ball sent Son clear to bend a super effort past Bernd Leno.
A shell shocked Arsenal were unable to muster a response to Son’s stunner as Spurs kept them at arms length before Kane doubled their lead just before the break.
Son swapped places with the England skipper this time as his neat pass cut the Arsenal defence in half and Kane slammed home.
Mikel Arteta’s side did look to force their way back in after the break as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang headed over and Hugo Lloris denied Alexandre Lacazette with an instinctive stop.
