Tottenham have boosted their hopes of securing a Europa League spot this season as Ryan Mason’s side clinched a vital 2–0 win over Wolves.

Goals from Harry Kane and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg proved enough to clinch it for Spurs as they now wait on results elsewhere to see how they end up this weekend.

And with Wolves have nothing to play for in the coming weeks, it was Spurs who dominated from the get-go with Kane rattling an early sighter against the post.

Tottenham were unrelenting before the break as Conor Coady was forced into two drastic goal line clearances before Kane finally found a breakthrough.

Hojbjerg’s searching ball carved through the Wolves back line and the England star steadied himself to slide past Rui Patricio.

And the one way traffic continued again in the second 45 as Kane and Dele Alli both saw efforts bounce back of the post.

But despite being the given the chance to edge back into it, Wolves were unable to muster up any sort of a late fightback.

So with the visitors offering nothing up top, Spurs clinched the tie with 25 minutes to spare as Hojbjerg swept in as Patricio parried from Gareth Bale.

Full Time from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium it’s Tottenham 2 Wolves 0
