Manchester City will have to plan without Sergio Aguero as they look to win the Champions League.
Aguero has not lost hope of being fit in time to play but Pep Guardiola will have to plan without him with Gabriel Jesus as the main striker.
Jesus has started all but one match since Aguero got injured – and after failing to score in his first six appearances since the lockdown he has scored five goals in his last seven starts – including the winner against Real Madrid last week.
And while the papers continue to link City to many different potential signings, there are two all but confirmed departures to report.
Once the season ends after the champions league, Claudio Bravo will be on his way to join former City Manager Manuel Pellegrini at Real Betis.
Meanwhile Lazio are completing the final details before making the signing of David Silva official. The Spanish midfielder is reported to be signing a three-year deal with the Serie A club within the coming days. On behalf of City fans everywhere, we thank you.
