Marcus Rashford snatches dramatic Manchester United 1-0 win over Wolves

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side were forced to wait until the 93rd minute to edge out Wolves as Marcus Rashford’s strike secured a huge three points at Old Trafford.

Nuno Santo’s side actually started the brighter of the two sides with Pedro Neto and Ruben Neves testing David De Gea.

United had to wait until well into the second half to carve out their best opening as Bruno Fernandes’ drive brought the best from Rui Patricio.

But just as this one looked to be drifting off to a boring 0-0 the chance began to fly at both ends.

Rayan Alt-Nouri’s deflected effort kept De Gea sharp in the United goal before Paul Pogba blazed over from Fernandes square ball.

And Fernandes was right at the heart of it as Rashford nicked it in added time.

His long ball released the England star in behind and his powerful drive deflected past Patricio for the win.

Leicester City edge out 1-0 Premier League win over Wolves

Jamie Vardy’s first half penalty proved the difference on afternoon of limited chances at both ends with the Foxes boosting their Top Four chances on home soil.

Neither side created much in a tight opening at the King Power, with Leicester given a real helping hand with their opener.

Dennis Praet’s driven cross hit Matt Kilman on the hand inside the box and after a long VAR check, referee Anthony Taylor pointed to the spot.

Vardy has one of best penalty records in the Premier League and the former England man was never in danger as he confidently tucked past Rui Patricio.

But if Leicester’s first spot kick was a controversial one, Taylor awarded them a more straightforward one before the break as Rayan Alt-Nouri tripped James Justin.

However, Vardy’s consistent record was to be dented as his second attempt was a poor one and Patricio made a scrambling stop.

Leicester picked the momentum up after the break as Vardy tested Patricio with a fierce drive and James Maddison fired wide.

But despite struggling to make any inroads on Leicester, Wolves did almost nick a point late on.

Ruben Neves’ spectacular drive looked destine for the top corner but Kasper Schmeichel reacted brilliantly with cat like reflexes to make a game winning stop.
