Leeds join campaign to provide school dinners for kids

Players from the club have donated £25,000 to the cause, an amount which has been matched by the club itself as support for the scheme continues to grow quickly.

After the government refused Rashford’s initial plea to continue providing for children during the holidays, hundreds of businesses around the country have pledged their support to the cause, and Leeds are no different.

The city council, charities, community organisations and businesses have come together to provide 36 locations – including Otley, Horsforth, Guiseley and Rawdon – where free school meals will be available during the October holiday.
