Impressive Wolves secure 2-0 Premier League win over Crystal Palace

Nuno Santo’s side moved up to third in the table as first half goals from debutant Rayan Ait-Nouri and Daniel Podence secured the three points.

Wolves dominated right from kick off in this one as Leander Dendoncker struck a post and the lively Podence forced a save from Vicente Guaita.

And with wave after wave of pressure from Wolves it was only a matter of time before they broke through.
Podence’s ball from the right wasn’t cleared by Palace and Ait-Nouri fired home a precise finish.

Palace were unable to react to that setback as Wolves poured forward again.

This time it was Pedro Neto who escaped down the right and Podence raced into the box to finish off a flowing move.

Roy Hodgson failed to rouse a response from his team in the break and Wolves could and should have extended their lead.

Raul Jimenez tested Guaita from distance before making a reaction stop from Adama Traore.

Palace’s misery was compounded in the final minutes as Luka Milivojevic was sent off but for Wolves, they look firmly back in the groove.
