Mark Hughes tips Ryan Giggs to take over Manchester United job in future

Hughes claimed Giggs has now demonstrated his managerial talent with the Welsh national side, and he could be on the list of future replacements for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Giggs worked under Louis Van Gaal at the club for two seasons before the Dutchman was replaced by Jose Mourinho.

He opted to leave following Mourinho’s arrival, taking a two-year sabbatical before taking up his role with Wales.

But despite never managing in the top-flight, Hughes believes a strong showing in next summer’s European Championships could put Giggs name in the frame to replace Ole in 2021.
