West Brom have given their chances of Premier League survival a shock boost thanks to a 5-2 win at ten-man Chelsea.

The Baggies have given themselves a fighting chance as goals from Matheus Pereira, Callum Robinson and Mbaye Diagne sealed a vital three points.

Sam Allardyce’s side were given a huge helping hand through Thiago Silva’s red card as his side took full advantage of the extra man.

Despite the final result it was Chelsea edged the opening stages with Christian Pulisic poking home Marcos Alonso’s free kick.

But two quick bookings saw the end of Silva’s afternoon as Pereira added time double edge the Baggies in front.

And with their tails up after the break West Brom showed just what a threat they can be as Robinson volleyed home a fantastic third.

And with neither side placing any attention on defending in the closing stages the goals flew in at both ends.

Diagne got himself in on the act as he tucked home the superb Pereira’s low pass before England star Mason Mount pulled on back for Chelsea.

But any slim chance of late Blues rally was ended in the final minutes as Robinson raced through to lash past Edouard Mendy for an incredible fifth.

Full Time from a crazy day at Stamford Bridge it’s Chelsea 2 West Brom 5
