Sheffield United star Sander Berge is the latest Premier League player to be caught up in a Covid-19 storm on international duty.

Berge is currently away with the Norway squad for their UEFA Nations League games against Romania and Austria.

However, the squad have been forced to self-isolate after Galatasaray defender Omar Elabdellaoui tested positive.

That meant a cancellation of their friendly with Israel in Oslo and the Norwegian health authorities have now forbidden them
from leaving the country.

That has essentially placed Berge in no mans land as he cannot return to the UK or represent his national team.

If the current guidelines are upheld, Berge is likely to remain in Norway until at least next weekend and he will miss the
Blades return to action against West Ham.

And your Blades latest, check back in tomorrow for more from the Sport Social.
