Sheffield United are reportedly edging closer to completing a £18m move for Bournemouth goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.

Cherries boss Jason Tindall confirmed the club had already rejected a £12m offer, with Chris Wilder’s Blades rumoured to be behind the offer.

However, with growing uncertainty over the potential return of Dean Henderson next season, Wilder has looked to move quickly in the market to bring Ramsdale to Bramall Lane.

Reports from Sky Sports claim the move could be wrapped up before the end of the week, with United determined to see off some late interest from rivals Aston Villa.
