Chelsea midfielders Willian and Pedro are yet to sign short-term deals at the club ahead of the Premier League restart.
Frank Lampard does not yet know whether the duo will be available for selection for Chelsea’s return to top flight action on June 21.
Willian is out of contract at the end of the month, and it has been well documented that the Blues are unprepared to offer him more than a one-year extension.
The 31-year-old has his heart set on staying in London, with both Arsenal and Tottenham reportedly interested.
However, it is unknown whether the Brazilian is prepared to turn out for Chelsea in their remaining Premier League fixtures by signing a short-term contract, or whether he would rather let his current deal expire.
According to The Sun, Pedro’s future is tied to that of Willian’s.
The newspaper claim that the Spaniard will not put pen to paper on a short-term extension himself until his teammate’s future is resolved – but he has agreed verbally to play out the remainder of Chelsea’s season.
