Arsenal have strengthened their push for a Top Four finish as Mikel Arteta’s side powered on to a 4-1 win away at Leeds.

The Gunners end the weekend cushioned inside the Champions League spots after they turned in a dominant performance at Elland Road.

Despite a deafening din from the hosts, it was the on form Arsenal who quickly clicked into gear, as Gabriel Martinelli stepped inside to bend one past Illan Meslier.

And with Marcelo Bielsa’s side unable to live with Arsenal before the break, it was Arteta’s charges who wrapped it up before the whistle.

Martinelli again found himself in space, as he fire homed Granit Xhaka’s ball before Bukayo Saka’s deflected strike made it 3-0 to Arsenal.

However, Leeds did show some signs of life in the second 45, as Brazilian star Raphinha lashed home from the spot after former Whites star Ben White scythed down Joe Gelhardt.

But, as the Arsenal nerves began to jangle in the final minutes, substitute Emile Smith-Rowe cruised on to Martin Odegaard’s ball to blast home for the win.

Full Time from Elland Road it’s Leeds United 1-4 Arsenal
