Transfer expected to be completed any day

According to reports from Sky Sports News, Bournemouth goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has been to Bramall Lane to have a medical ahead of joining the Blades in an £18.5million move.

Ramsdale began his career at Sheffield United’s academy before joining Bournemouth in January 2017. He went out on loan to Chesterfield and AFC Wimbledon, before becoming the number one choice at the Vitality Stadium.

Ramsdale looks set to fill the gap left by Dean Henderson, who starred in between the sticks for the Blades in two loan spells from Manchester United.

Although ESPN are reporting that Sheffield United are considering a loan offer for Henderson, despite seemingly having already secured the services of Ramsdale.
