Both sides still have a huge amount to play for as Arsenal host Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.

The Gunners secured a vital 1-2 victory against London neighbours West Ham, while Leeds were thumped 0-4 by Manchester City.

Mikel Arteta’s side are on course for a top four finish, though first face a Leeds United side who are fighting to survival in the Premier League.

Though Arsenal find themselves in a healthy position, now two points clear of Tottenham in fifth on 61 points following their victory against West Ham.

Goals from defenders Rob Holding and Gabriel sealed all three points, with the Gunners now winning all three of their last games against Chelsea, Manchester United and West Ham.

With their North London Rivals to come next week, any slip-up now could prove costly in their bid for Champions League football next season.

Despite Jesse Marsch’s side only losing one of their last one of their last six games in the Premier League, the late form of Burnley has now prompted the need for points and fast.

Leeds now find themselves just two points from the relegation places on 34 points, above Everton on 32 points and with a game in hand.

Their last game was a heavy defeat at the hands of title contenders Manchester City, with goals from Rodri, Ake, Jesus and Fernandinho to dent their Premier League survival hopes.

The Yorkshire side have a tough run-in to the campaign, with Chelsea, Brighton and Brentford to come.

Team news

The Gunners are currently assessing Ben White who sustained an injury against Manchester United, while Kieran Tierney and Thomas Partey are out until next season.

As for Leeds, they will be without Tyler Roberts, Patrick Bamford, Adam Forshaw, Liam Cooper and Stuart Dallas through injury.
