Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has hailed Jamie Vardy, after the former England international netted his 100th Premier League goal against Crystal Palace yesterday.

Vardy scored twice in the Foxes vital 3-0 win, making him only the third current top-flight player to score a 100 goals.

He is now on to 21 Premier League goals for the season, and Rodgers is confident he can secure his first ever Golden Boot.

The former Liverpool coach claimed Vardy has been a privilege to work with during his time at the club, and backed the 33-year old to break his career record of 24 goals in a single season before the end of the campaign.
