Leicester City have boosted their Top Four hopes with a timely 3-0 win at home to Crystal Palace.
The three points will be vital for the Foxes, as top scorer Jamie Vardy finally broke the 100 Premier League goal barrier.
Brendan Rodgers’ side struggled to make any impact in the first half, with an organised Palace side restricting them to half chances.
Full back James Justin had the best of the opening 45 minutes, as his effort hit the bar, but Vicente Guaita looked to have it covered.
Leicester looked a different side after the break, as Kelechi Iheanacho tapped home Youri Tielemans’ cross on 50 minutes.
That goal eased the pressure on the hosts, and with Palace not looking likely to score, the final ten minutes were all about Vardy.
The former England international reached a 100 goals, after Harvey Barnes pounced on Mamadou Sakho’s slip.
But goal 101 was vintage Vardy, racing onto Barnes’ through ball, and calmly chipping past a helpless Guaita.
