Arsenal have picked up their fourth successive win in all competitions, with a vital 2-0 victory at Wolves.
Bukayo Saka’s first ever Premier League goal secured all three points for Mikel Arteta’s side, with substitute Alexandre Lacazette adding a second goal late on.
The Gunners looked hungry for this right from kick off, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Eddie Nketiah forcing saves from Rui Patricio.
But there was little the Portuguese keeper could do nothing about Saka’s opener on the stroke of half time.
Kieran Tierney’s whipped ball was not dealt with by the Wolves defence, and Saka stepped inside to power past Patricio.
Wolves came into the game after the break, as Arsenal looked content to hold on for 1-0.
Raul Jimenez forced a brave stop from Emiliano Martinez, before some last-ditch David Luiz defending stopped Diogo Jota is his tracks.
Nuno Santo’s side pushed hard in the closing stages, but with no cutting edge, they remained vulnerable on the break.
And Lacazatte kept his cool in closing minutes, easing onto Joe Willock’s pass to fire Arteta to another three points.
