Manchester United will be confident of keeping their Top Four hopes on track at they host struggling Newcastle this weekend.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer rested some of his stars for their Europa League win over Real Sociedad in midweek and he will recall David De Gea, Luke Shaw and Anthony Martial to the team.

However, the Norwegian confirmed Scott McTominay will miss the Magpies visit with Donny van de Beek and Edinson Cavani also joining Paul Pogba on the sidelines.

Newcastle boss Steve Bruce is aware his team are in danger of slipping back into bad habits as their form nosediving in 2021.

Star man Callum Wilson remains out for Newcastle, but the returning pair Jeff Hendrick and Joelinton could come back in to the starting line up at Old Trafford.

And it’s late one to wrap up a busy Sunday of Premier League action with a 7pm start at Old Trafford.
