Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick will be demanding a reaction from his players as they wrap up 2021 at home to Burnley tonight.

Manchester United slipped to a 1-1 draw away at Newcastle over Christmas and Rangnick was angered by their showing on Tyneside.

The German is set to rotate his options in this one with Luke Shaw pushing for a recall at left back and Donny van de Beek set to replace the banned Bruno Fernandes in midfield.

Edinson Cavani and Jadon Sancho impressed off the bench against the Magpies and Rangnick is set to start at least one of them tonight.

Sean Dyche is a man of few changes and he could name a unchanged side from their draw with West Ham last time out.

Covid-19 postponements mean Maxwell Cornet is back in the squad but Dale Stephens and Ashley Barnes remain sidelined.

This tie kicks off with an 8.15pm start tonight at Old Trafford
