Brighton will be aiming to put some distance between themselves and the relegation zone when they host Everton on Monday night.

The Seagulls head into the weekend six points clear of Fulham but with both the Cottagers and rivals Newcastle both in action, Graham Potter’s side may need a positive result against The Toffees.

And he’ll boosted by some key injury returns for this one, with Aaron Connolly and Adam Webster both back in training this week and centre back Dan Burn in line for a late test.

As for Everton, their European hopes took a knock with a late draw against Crystal Palace last time out.

But despite that result, Ancelotti is likely to keep the faith and stick with the bulk of the same side on the South Coast.

Andre Gomes’ injury could mean a recall for Allan to the Everton midfield but Robin Olsen will continue to deputise in goal in place of the sidelined Jordan Pickford.

And this one kicks off at 8pm on Monday night at the AMEX Stadium.
