Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola faces an old friend in Champions League action tonight as the defending Premier League champions take on take Lionel Messi’s PSG.

Messi missed PSG’s weekend win over Montpellier, but boss Mauricio Pochettino has recalled him to face Manchester City.

But despite his high profile return tonight, the Argentine superstar is yet to score since swapping Catalonia for Paris, and City will be hoping that continues.

However, for City, Pep will be looking to keep up their defensive solidity against Messi and co but he could make changes further forward.

Winger Riyad Mahrez was the hero in last season’s semi final against the Parisians and the Algerian could rotate back in to the starting XI if Guardiola goes on the offensive in Paris.
