Manchester United star Paul Pogba may have played his final game of 2021 after the midfielder picked up a thigh injury on France duty this week.
Pogba took to Instagram to post a photo of him on crutches as Les Bleus training camp in Paris with the 28-year-old now expected to return to the UK tomorrow.
Initial estimates have put Pogba’s return at a minimum of eight weeks away meaning the former Juventus man could miss United’s final 12 games of the year.
This latest setback will also deepen speculation over Pogba’s long term future at Old Trafford with his current deal set to expire in 2022.
Pogba is free to agree a pre contract deal with a non-Premier League club from the start of January and some United fans are already speculating that they’ve seen the last of him at United.
