Arsenal are yet to convince Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to sign a new deal at the club.

That’s according to the player himself, whose Gunners contract expires in June 2021.

Aubameyang, who turns 31 later this week, will have a big decision to make regarding his future, one he has described as a “turning point”.

Speaking to French outlet Téléfoot, the Gabon international said:

“I haven’t had any offers recently, of course, but I did speak to the club quite a few months ago, and they know why nothing has happened yet.

“The ball is in their court now, so it’s down to them to do their bit and we’ll see how it goes.”

Aubameyang has smashed 49 goals in 75 Premier League games for Arsenal since his arrival from Borussia Dortmund in 2018.
