Norwich City have hauled themselves out of the Premier League drop zone for the first time this season as the Canaries won 3-0 away at Watford.
This result could prove massive with the relegation picture as Dean Smith’s side force the Hornets back into the bottom three as a result.
Neither side created much before the break but a moment of inspiration tipped for Norwich after the
restart.
Teemu Pukki’s perseverance rescued a lost cause inside the Watford box and hit cut back was brilliantly flicked home by Josh Sargent.
But despite the delay of a floodlight failure there was no dimming from Norwich as they impressed late on.
Sargent’s first Premier League goal had given the American a taste for it on the night as he got up to power them 2-0 in front.
And the misery for Watford wasn’t finished yet, as top scorer Emmanuel Dennis saw red for a high foot on Max Aarons before the hapless Juraj Kucka steered home Adam Idah’s cross.
Full Time from Vicarage Road it’s Watford 0 Norwich City 3
