Everton have announced midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has joined French club Nice for an undisclosed fee.

The 30-year-old French international has been with the Toffees since joining from Manchester United in January 2017.

Schneiderlin went on to make 88 appearances in all competitions for Everton, scoring just the single goal.

The ex-Southampton player had started 12 Premier League games this season before undergoing knee surgery in February.

Nice, who are managed by former Arsenal midfielder Patrick Vieira, finished fifth in the French league this season after it was brought to a premature end due to the coronavirus pandemic.
