Liverpool star Mo Salah is reportedly demanding £500,000 a week as part of his contract negotiations at Anfield.

Mo Salah is set to kick off renewal talks with the Reds this month with his current deal on Merseyside expiring in 2023.

However, despite currently earning an estimated £200,000 with the Premier League giants, Salah is now looking to double his salary moving forward.

According to exclusive reports from the Sunday Mirror today, Salah is now expected to monitor his options amid ongoing transfer interest from Real Madrid.

Salah’s teammates Jordan Henderson and Virgil van Dijk have both recently committed their own futures to the club but Salah’s situation is more complicated.

A frugal operation at Liverpool means they are unlikely to match his rumoured demands in the coming talks with a compromise package set to be put forward before the end of 2021.
