Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford will leave the England squad and return to United after failing to shake off a foot injury.

Rashford joined up with Gareth Southgate’s squad despite carrying the problem with United happy for him to prove his fitness.

However, all both parties have now agreed to release from international duty to continue his recovery.

There is no word on well Rashford will be back in action but he is expected to miss United’s first game back in action at home to Brighton.
