Manchester United’s Top Four challenge has come to a screeching halt this weekend as they lost 4-0 away at Brighton.

United will now miss out on a Top Four slot as they were thoroughly outclassed on the South Coast.

And in truth, it was one way traffic from the off at the AMEX as Moises Caicedo and Marc Cucurella smashed home their first Premier League goals.

That dominance continued for the Seagulls in the closing stages as Pascal Gross danced through to make it 3-0 and Leandro Trossard bundled home a fourth.

But the situation could and should have got worse for Brighton in the final 10 as Alexis MacAllister clipped the post and Danny Welbeck smashed over the top.

Full Time from the AMEX Stadium it’s Brighton 4 Manchester United 0
