Manchester City have responded to Liverpool’s Premier League title pressure in emphatic style this weekend as they cruised to a 4-0 win away at Leeds.

Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City side return to the top of the table with a one-point lead over the Reds as attention now turns to Madrid in midweek, following a win against Leeds.

And despite a few early scares, it was all fairly routine for City either side of the break, as Rodri glanced home Phil Foden’s free kick and Nathan Ake poked home Ruben Dias’ knockdown.

Leeds did carry a sporadic threat late on, but in truth City cruised it in the final 20, as Gabriel Jesus continued his fine form with a smart finish and Fernandinho blasted home a fantastic fourth.
