Liverpool’s dominant Anfield record against Arsenal gained a new chapter this weekend as the Reds swept to a 4-0 win on Merseyside.

Mikel Arteta’s side headed north on the back of a ten game unbeaten run but the 2020 champions delivered a cold lesson of Premier League reality by Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp’s side set the tempo from the start in this one as Aaron Ramsdale was called on to smartly keep out Thiago and Mo Salah.

But with the wind blowing for Liverpool before the break Mane got ahead of Gabriel to nod them in front.

And there was to be no fight back from Arsenal in the second 45 as Nuno Tavares’ error gifted Diogo Jota a second.

However, despite some more Ramsdale heroics in the final 20, Liverpool were in full flight late on.

Jota and Mane tore through the Gunners backline to hand Salah a deserved goal before Trent Alexander-Arnold laid one on for Takumi Minamino to wrap it up.

Full Time from Anfield it’s Liverpool 4-0 Arsenal
