Liverpool have given fans a big Twitter boost this morning with news that Harvey Elliott have kicked of his rehab programme.

Harvey Elliott suffered a dislocated ankle in the Reds Premier League win over Leeds last month.

However, despite requiring surgery on the injury, the former Fulham man is back in the gym and working towards a full return.

Liverpool have not provided an update on his expected comeback date but boss Jurgen Klopp is confident he will be fit again to feature in 2022.

And in other Anfield news, Klopp has seen his request to move their fixture with Watford next weekend rejected by the Premier League.

Klopp is set to be without Alisson and Fabinho against the Hornets for the game due to quarantine rules surrounding the time with the Samba Boys.
