Liverpool can clinch their place in the Champions League last 16 this evening if Jurgen Klopp’s side can overcome La Liga champions Atletico Madrid.
The two sides have built up an intriguing rivalry in recent seasons with Klopp and Diego Simeone also trading veiled criticisms ahead of this one.
The Reds edged out a 3-2 win in Madrid in the reverse fixture two weeks ago but Klopp expects tonight to be a much tighter affair.
Midfield pair James Milner and Naby Keita have both been ruled out however Fabinho and Thiago Alcantara could come in to start.
Ibrahima Konate is expected to start alongside Virgil van Dijk and Klopp will make a late call on Roberto Firmino or Diogo Jota up top.
As for Atletico, Frenchman Antoine Griezmann is suspended after being sent off last time around and former Reds talisman Luis Suarez will be lurking in the shadows as he aims to fire Atletico on.
And this one kicks off with an 8pm start tonight at Anfield.
