Liverpool were forced to settle for a 2-2 draw away at Tottenham as Jurgen Klopp’s side eventually ended things with ten men on the pitch.

Tensions flared and controversy dominated right the way across the 90 minutes against title contenders Liverpool.

As Harry Kane and Andy Robertson found themselves smack bang at the centre of the action.

Both sides were busy from the off in North London with Kane easing onto Tanguy Ndombele’s pass into as the England skipper smashed Spurs in front.

And it was Antonio Conte’s side who looked primed to push on from there as Son Heung-min and Dele Alli wasted crucial chances.

However, the temperature edged up a notch from there as Kane was booked for clattering into Robertson, before the Scot’s clever cross was bulleted home by Diogo Jota.

The end-to-end fury continued again in the second 45 with Alisson brilliantly denying Kane before Robertson popped up in the box as he bravely steered home Trent Alexander Arnold’s ball.

But the pendulum swang once again for Spurs late on, as Son capitalised on Alisson’s error, and Robertson was dismissed for a swipe at Emerson.

Full Time from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium it’s Tottenham 2-2 Liverpool
