Chelsea are close to the capture of Leicester City’s Ben Chilwell, with Southampton's Ryan Bertrand viewed as a possible replacement.
Foxes full back Chilwell has been on Frank Lampard’s radar all season, with it said the player is keen to make the switch to Stamford Bridge.
The Times claim that Leicester are ‘increasingly resigned’ to losing Chilwell to the Blues this summer.
The 23-year-old is under contract at the King Power Stadium until 2024, and is believed to be earning around £65,000 a week.
Reports suggest Chelsea will be made to pay close to £75m to secure the England international’s services.
It’s claimed Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers has his eye on Southampton defender Ryan Bertrand to fill the void should Chilwell leave the King Power.
Bertrand was a Champions League winner in 2012 with former club Chelsea, and has just a year remaining on his current Southampton contract.
