Leicester City have wrapped up an impressive week as Brendan Rodgers’ side won 2-1 away at Brentford.

Leicester seem to have ridden an early season storm of inconsistency in recent weeks with man on of the moment Patson Daka providing the crucial touch in the capital following their victory over Brentford.

However, despite the result it was Brentford who dominated early on with Kasper Schmeichel smartly keeping out.

But despite not really creating much before the break, Leicester headed in 1-0 up at the whistle as Youri Tielemans rocketed one past David Raja.

However, with the Foxes unable to see off Brentford after the restart, the Bees bounced back as Matias Jorgensen nodded home from a corner.

And with both sides creating chances to clinch it late on it was Leicester’s ruthlessness that tipped the balance.

Daka’s pace tore past the Brentford back line and his cut back was tapped home by James Maddison.

Full Time from the Brentford Community Stadium it’s Brentford 1-2 Leicester City
