Leicester City have clinched their first ever FA Cup title as Brendan Rodgers’ side sealed a dramatic 1-0 win over Chelsea at Wembley.

Twenty two thousand fans were back inside the home of English football to witness a historic day for the Foxes as Youri Tielemens wonder goal made the key difference.

Neither side created much in a tight and tense opening 45 minutes as Mason Mount swerved one just wide and Caglar Soyuncu’s header bounced just past the upright.

And with neither side budging an inch after break it took a moment of Belgian magic to unlock Chelsea.

Luke Thomas’ neat pass was latched by Tielemans and he opened up to crack one past Kepa.

Chelsea did look to respond in the final stages as Leicester called on a rescue act from skipper Kasper Schmeichel.

The Dane has an barrier for the Foxes down the and he saved some of his best for Wembley with two fantastic stops to keep Ben Chilwell and Mount.

But there was time for one late twist as Chilwell’s cross was bundled into his own by Wes Morgan.

However, the VAR gods were shining on Leicester as they ruled offside against the former Fox.

Full Time from an iconic night at Wembley Stadium it’s Leicester City 1 Chelsea 0
