Burnley and Leeds remain winless so far this season as Patrick Bamford’s late goal secured a point for the Whites at Turf Moor.

Neither side covered themselves in glory in Lancashire as an old school ding dong of battle saw spoils shared between Leeds and Burnley.

The first half was a right off at both ends of the pitch with Bamford almost nodding in an unfortunate own goal.

However, despite the drab start, Burnley did look to turn it up a notch in the second 45 as Chris Wood edged them in front.

James Tarkowski’s header bounced back into the box, and with Leeds unable to clear up, Wood stayed alive to poke home.

But if Burnley’s breakthrough was scrappy, Leeds’ equaliser was a lesson in penalty box pinball.

Raphinha’s cut back was scuffed towards goal by Jamie Shackleton and Bamford had a little smile for Sean Dyche as he toed one past Nick Pope.

Full Time from Turf Moor it’s Burnley 1 Leeds United 1
