Leeds were saved from a fifth Premier League defeat of the season as Marcelo Bielsa’s side snatched a 1-1 draw at home to Wolves.

Leeds found themselves struggled for fluency right from the start in West Yorkshire as it was left to Rodrigo’s late penalty to secure a vital point against Wolves.

Bielsa’s side were their own worst enemy early on, as Nelson Semedo was allowed to slip in behind and his cross was missed by a string of Leeds defenders, before Hwang Hee-chan popped up to bury the opener.

However, with Wolves unable to make the most of their advantage after the break, Leeds went from strength to strength.

Jose Sa produced a fine stop to keep out Joe Gelhardt and it was the teenage star who made the key impact for the equaliser.

His driving run into the box was ended by Semedo’s clumsy challenge and Rodrigo kept his head to tuck past Sa.
