Leeds United have signed Rennes winger Raphinha for a fee around £20m

The Whites have made an impressive start to the season and have added the Brazilian to boost their squad, with Raphinha arriving for around £20m on a five year deal.

Since being knocked back in a move for Daniel James by Man United, attention has turned to the 23-year-old, who is no stranger to a deadline day switch, having joined Rennes from Sporting in the summer of 2019 as a replacement for Watford bound Ismaila Sarr.

Raphinha scored five goals and recorded three assists as he helped Rennes to finish third in Ligue 1, qualifying for the Champions League in the process, but is set to swap France for Elland Road as he becomes the latest player in Marcelo Bielsa’s squad.
