After a summer of spending, Chelsea are set to let two of their fringe players leave the club in the coming days.
Winger Kenedy, who has been loaned almost as many times as an old Blockbuster DVD, is heading to Spain to sign on loan for Granada.
The Brazilian winger is only 24, but has failed to nail down a first team place at Stamford Bridge since signing from Fluminense way back in 2015.
Two spells at Newcastle United, where he initially impressed, failed to materialise into a permanent move, before he spent last season in Spain at Getafe.
And now he’s set for another year in Spain, with Granada keen to give him another chance to impress.
Another name heading for Europe is Davide Zappacosta, who has attracted interest from Atalanta.
The Italian defender was brought to England by Antonio Conte but has fallen out of favour at right-back, with club captain Cesar Azpilicueta and Reece James ahead of him.
Atalanta recently sold Timothy Castagne to Leicester City, and see Zappacosta as an ideal replacement, with a loan with option to buy the most likely deal to be struck.
